General
Who is Ferhat Remory?
I'm Ferhat Remory, a web developer and business developer from Belgium, active since 2006 at the crossroads of code and business. I build websites, webshops, platforms, and digital ecosystems myself, and think along on SEO, content, and sales — from strategy and design to build, launch, and growth.
Do you work alone or with a team?
I do design, development, content, and strategy myself. For photography, video, or other specialist work, I team up with a fixed group of people I know and trust.
What makes this different from a web agency?
With me you get one point of contact instead of a chain of project managers and developers. Five disciplines (code, design, content, sales, strategy) come together in one person, which means faster turnaround and less noise in communication.
How long have you been doing this?
Since 2006 — more than 20 years of experience by now, from the first steps in code and SEO to the current combination of development and business development since 2024.
What languages can I reach you in?
Dutch, English, and Turkish, for clients in Belgium, the Netherlands, and beyond. I deliver communication and copy in all three languages.
Services
What kind of websites do you build?
High-performance custom websites, built with custom code instead of templates: from a one-pager to a full site with service structure, portfolio, and self-management. Fast, mobile-first, with SEO basics and analytics built in.
Can you also build a webshop?
Yes, a webshop on your own server with full control over code, data, and payments (Mollie or Stripe), including product structure, filters, and SEO for product and category pages. See also the Apollo Watch Company project, which switched from Shopify to its own WooCommerce solution.
Do you also build web applications or internal dashboards?
Yes, fully custom dashboards, tools, and web apps, with an admin panel so you stay in control. Built for businesses getting stuck in disconnected tools, spreadsheets, and manual work.
Can you build a custom CRM?
Yes, a CRM or internal system that follows your sales and follow-up process instead of the other way around: statuses, automatic follow-up, reporting, and user roles, with migration of existing data if needed.
What is "vibe coding & prototypes"?
Building fast to learn: a working, clickable prototype with real data instead of a presentation you can only look at. Meant for founders and teams who want to test an idea before investing heavily.
Do you also build games or interactive platforms?
Yes, Uithaler and Gangster.nu are among the own projects in the portfolio: browser-based multiplayer games with real-time progression, their own economy, payment integration, and a full admin dashboard.
Can you improve an existing website instead of rebuilding it?
Yes. A UX/UI audit looks at structure, hierarchy, and the calls to action on the existing site, without immediately rebuilding everything. Sometimes the best advice is actually not to rebuild something.
Do you also do SEO and copywriting?
Yes: SEO audit, keyword research, content structure, and rewriting pages in plain language. I turn complex jargon into sales arguments that both rank and convert.
Can you speed up a slow or outdated website?
Yes, I start with a technical audit, followed by a rebuild or cleanup, security, and updates, and an ongoing maintenance arrangement if you'd like, so the site stays fast and secure.
Can you automate recurring tasks?
Yes, think of follow-up, reporting, data processing, and connections between systems. I first look at what's actually worth automating, and only then build it.
Do you also offer business development or sales consultancy?
That track combines digital expertise with commercial understanding, but it's temporarily paused right now: I'm fully focused on a full-time assignment under NDA. Feel free to let me know you're interested, and I'll reach out as soon as there's room.
Can I just buy advice without having anything built?
Yes, consultancy by the day or as an ongoing arrangement. Sometimes the advice not to build something is worth the most.
Pricing & terms
What does a website cost?
It depends on scope and customization. The packages on the pricing page give an indicative starting price (landing page from €295, a full website from €590). After a thirty-minute call I'll give you a fixed amount, no open-ended surprises.
Are the prices including VAT?
No, all listed amounts are indicative prices excluding VAT. After the thirty-minute intake, a fixed, final amount follows.
How does payment work?
For one-off projects, I invoice 40% at the start and 60% on delivery. For an ongoing arrangement, I invoice monthly.
How many rounds of revisions are included?
Two rounds of revisions are included with the packages. Extra rounds are billed hourly, always flagged in advance.
Do I own the website and the code?
Yes. The code, domain, and hosting are in your name. You're never locked into me to move forward with the site.
I don't need a full project, just a small change — is that possible?
Yes, standalone items like an extra page, a landing page, a smart form, an integration, or an SEO audit each have a fixed price listed on the pricing page.
Do you also offer maintenance after delivery?
Yes, through a monthly arrangement: updates, backups, monitoring, and small tweaks. Optional, never mandatory: you're also welcome to host it yourself or bring in another party.
Process
How long does a project take?
A landing page in one to two weeks, a full website in three to six weeks. A platform or CRM takes longer, split into phases that each ship separately.
What do I need to provide myself?
Info about your business, visuals if you have them, and one person who can decide. You're welcome to write the copy yourself, but I'm happy to help — it saves time and gets more out of the message.
How does the collaboration work, step by step?
Five steps: a free thirty-minute intake, a proposal with price and planning, building in short rounds that each go online, fine-tuning based on feedback, and then growing further with measurement, maintenance, or extensions.
Is requesting a quote non-binding?
Yes. The thirty-minute intake is free and without obligation. Only after that does a proposal with a fixed price follow.
Do I get to see the website before it's fully finished?
Yes, I build in short rounds and put every round online on a test environment, so you see progress instead of just reading a status update.
Practical
Do you also work outside Belgium and the Netherlands?
My home market is Belgium and the Netherlands. Working remotely is no problem, but I do like to meet clients in person at least once.
How quickly do I get a response?
Within one business day, by email, phone, or the contact form.
How do I get in touch?
Via hello@ferhat.io, by phone on +32 483 11 29 95, via LinkedIn, or through the quote form on the site.
Should I choose a freelancer or a web agency?
That depends on what you need. With me, you get one point of contact who combines code, design, content, and sales, without the layer of account managers and handovers between teams that often comes with an agency. For a project that needs a whole team of specialized roles, an agency might make more sense.
Who can build a website for my SME in Belgium or the Netherlands?
I've been working with SMEs and entrepreneurs in Belgium and the Netherlands since 2006, combining development, design, copywriting, and SEO in a single engagement: from intake and design to build, launch, and growth.
